Joy Reid compared Rittenhouse to Kavanaugh. Why not Compare Keith Ellison to Kavanaugh?

Recently MSNBC host Joy Reid compared Kyle Rittenhouse to Brett Kavanaugh. During her rambling, incontinent rant about white privilege, and racism, she veered off to complain about how people (racist white people, especially men) treated Kavanaugh’s testimony as more compelling that Christine Blasey Ford’s.

Apparently she feels very strongly that “every woman should be believed” and an accusation should be all that is necessary for a conviction, or to deny a position.

For those with short memories, in 2018 Brett Kavanaugh was nominated to the Supreme Court. Christine Blasey Ford came forward and accused him of sexually assaulting her more than 30 years ago when they were both teenagers.

She couldn’t remember when it happened, she couldn’t remember where it happened, and she never told anyone about it. However, she was able to name several people who were supposedly there when it happened. One of them was her best friend. None of the “witnesses” remembered the party where she claimed the incident took place. And even her best friend insisted she couldn’t remember Kavanaugh and Ford ever being in the same room together.

According to her story, the only reason she wasn’t raped was that she had gone swimming that day and had decided to wear her wet bathing suit under her cloths when she went to the party. When Kavanaugh tried to rape her he couldn’t figure out how to get her out of the one piece bathing suit.

Joy Reid feels Kavanaugh should have been disqualified from serving on the Supreme Court because of a 30 plus year old allegation with no evidence and no known location or date.

What is really interesting, is that while the Kavanaugh hearings were taking place, Keith Ellison, who was at that time a member of Congress and serving as the Deputy Chair of the Democratic National Committee, was the Democrat candidate for Minnesota Attorney General.

His former girlfriend Amy Alexander accused him of domestic abuse. Another Ellison’s ex-girlfriend Karen Monahan also accused him of domestic abuse. These allegations stemmed from incidents that had taken place over the previous two years. And despite recordings of 911 calls, police reports, and medical records suggesting physical abuse, The DNC declared there was no evidence and continued to support his campaign for Minnesota Attorney General.

If Joy Reid is upset that Kavanaugh was not rejected for a seat on the Supreme Court because of an allegation of sexual assault from more than 30 years ago (when he was a teenager), with no evidence, no witnesses, and no when or where, she must have been absolutely furious over Keith Ellison being supported by Democrats in his bid for the Office of Minnesota Attorney General after being accused of domestic abuse by two women backed up by 911 calls, police reports, and medical records. Right?

Well you would be wrong. Joy Reid only thinks “Women Should Be Believed” when the accused is a white man, and a Conservative.
