Do as I say…. Not as I do

In 2008 President Barack Obama set a record for the most votes ever received by a presidential candidate when he received 69,498,516 votes.

In 2020 President Donald Trump broke the record set by Obama when he received 74,216,154 votes. However, despite holding no rallies, and no public campaign appearances, Joe Biden somehow received 81,268,924 votes in that same election.

When Republicans questioned the 2020 election results, and requested recounts and investigations into numerous irregularities, Democrats expressed outrage at Republicans for questioning the results, accused them of undermining the integrity of the election and trying to undermine the faith of the American people in our election process, and accused them of instigating an insurrection. Democrats also aggressively moved to block recounts, inquiries, and investigations into voting irregularities.

In 2016 those same Democrats not only challenged the results of the presidential election, but claimed Trump stole the election, openly referred to Trump as an illegitimate president, continuously questioned the integrity of the election, demanded recounts and investigations, encouraged riots and demonstrations, and tried to block the election results from being certified.

One presidential candidate holds numerous rallies, drawing tens of thousands of people to each, attracts huge crowds of supporters everywhere he goes, and gets more votes than any previous candidate in history. Yet his opponent, who makes no public campaign appearances, no rallies, and draws no crowds, gets even more votes.

The political party that questioned the integrity of one presidential election and insisted the winner of that election was illegitimate (after their candidate lost the election), then expresses outrage when the results of the very next presidential election is questioned (after their candidate wins).
