In 2019, ActBlue (a major Democratic fundraising platform) raised $890 million on behalf of the Democrat party ahead of the 2020 election.
According to a computer analysis made by the Take Back Action Fund, nearly half of all those donations were made by people claiming to be unemployed. And of the 9.8 million people who donated that money to the Democrat party, 48% were unemployed.
And of the nearly $164 million in political donations made directly to Joe Biden’s campaign, 34% came from people claiming to be unemployed. And of the 1.2 million people who donated that money, 49% reported they were unemployed.
This stands in stark contrast to the Trump campaign which received less than 3% of their donations from people claiming to be unemployed, and WinRed (the top fundraising platform for the Republican Party) received 5.7% of their donations to the Republican Party from unemployed persons.
So during a time in which unemployment was at 3.67%, almost 50% of all donors to the Democrat party and Joe Biden were unemployed, and 38% of all donations came from unemployed donors.
Now a report by O’Keefe Media Group on an FEC investigation into ActBlue shows that nearly 60% of “donations” to the Democrat Party received by the company actually came from China.
