Once again, Biden and his fellow Democrats are stoking the flames of hatred and division among Americans.
On 14 May, 2022, there is a shooting at a grocery store in Buffalo New York, 13 people were shot, 10 of which were killed. The main stream media immediately identified the shooter as a young white man and a white supremacist, identified his victims as “mostly black”, and referred to the shooting as a hate crime. Eleven victims were Black and two were White.
Politicians, including the POTUS Joe Biden, quickly went public declaring the shooting a hate crime, denounced racism and white nationalist, and demanded a end to hate.
However, just a few weeks ago…
On April 12, 2022, a man threw smoke bombs and starts shooting in a crowded New York Subway station. Ten people were shot and many more were injured. The race of the shooter and his victims were not mentioned in the media. No description of the shooter was given by law enforcement or the press. Even after the suspect was arrested and his picture was made public, there was still no mention of race, or a motive for the shooting.
Based on a published photo of the shooter, he was Black man who had made numerous posts and videos on Social media calling for violence against White people. Despite the fact that none of his victims were Black, there was no mention in the media of a hate crime, or racism. Politicians remained silent, except for a few calls for stricter gun laws.
Why were these two horrific acts of violence treated so differently by the media and politicians?
Why is it when one person commits an act of violence it is not a hate crime, but when another person commits the same act of violence it is a hate crime?
Why is it when a person of color shoots a White person it is an act of violence, but when a White person shoots a person of color it is labeled a hate crime?
It’s as if Democrats and the Left are promoting racial tensions for political gain.
